Tips to increase traffic with back links through blog commenting
December 24th, 2008 | By Simon In Traffic Generation | No Comments »
One important factor for a successful website on the internet is increased traffic to the website. And out of the many techniques used for generating traffic to the website, I find blog something to be an effective and interesting technique.
Basically, blog commenting is a means of increasing the traffic to your website by building up on the number of back links to your site, by making comments to a blog. In fact, blog commenting is considered to be a form of off page SEO.
However while venturing into blog commenting, I have to mention that you have to only comment on something that is relevant to the topic in hand. Or if you have nothing to say about the concerned topic, you have to at least congratulate the author for the work on the blog.
Choose blogs relevant to your market
However sometimes, I have heard people complaining of having commented on blogs for some time, but still was not able to increase the traffic to their website. So here are some points I suggest to bear in mind while considering blog commenting.
The first point to remember is to find 2-3 blogs that are relevant to your market and comment on them. Use the same username to post on the blogs. Preferably, the username should be the same as the username you use while posting on your blog, forum or social media sites.
Read the blog everyday
Make it a point to read the blog everyday to not only collect the tips and information offered on the blog, but so that you can comment on the published articles. I suggest you post something of value to the blog like a question about a blog or give your opinion about the matter.
If possible be the first blogger to comment back as these comments get the most traffic. I also suggest becoming a member of their community so that you can voice your opinion, help others and thus make friends who will visit your website. And most important, start your blog commenting from already popular blogs for maximum traffic.
