Support for Charities
Simon Thurston believes in helping to make a difference, and therefore is actively involved in making regular donations to a variety of charities.
The Blue Cross is a locally-based animal charity (its head quarters are in Burford, in Gloucestershire), and was actually started way back in 1897. It now has branches all around the country.
Its mission is to provide for and meet the needs of many, many companion animals through treatment, advice and support, as well as finding them loving homes which will ensure they get the quality of life that they deserve.

The British Heart Foundation is a charity dear to Simon as he lost a friend several years ago to a heart defect that could not be rectified.
The British Heart Foundation’s vision is a world where people do not die prematurely of a heart defect or disease, and are pioneers in to the research that is necessary in order to combat what is the UK’s number one killer.

Sands is a charity that is also close to Simon’s heart. Did you know that 17 babies are still born or die shortly after birth in the UK every single day?
Sands was started in 1981 and offers support to not only the mother and father, but also their families. Their core aims are to support anyone affected by the death of a baby and to work in partnership with health professionals to improve the quality of care given to bereaved families.

I donate a percentage of my profits to the Blue Cross each and every month
