One of the more effective means of advertising online is through Google Adsense. There are many tips that can be followed to ensure that you make maximum money through Google Adsense. And I have to say that the most effective way of earning money through Google Adsense is by placing high paying keywords on the pages that get most traffic.
Moreover, remember that the more expensive is the click to the advertiser, the more money you will earn. This means that you should not use lo paying keywords on your site, or place ads on pages with low traffic.
Work at improving traffic to your website.

To make more money through Google Adsense, I advise that you work at improving the traffic to your website. You can refer your logs to find out if your promotional activities are effective in generating increased visits to your site. Remember that more traffic means more clicks and more money for you.
Another tip I have to mention in using Google Adsense is to integrate Google ads into the content of the page by making it look like your sitemap menu with similar colors and format.

Make sure that your Google ads are relevant to your page content

And last, but not least, ensure that the Google Adsense ads are related to the content on your page by creating header tags which are similar to the page content. Google Adsense can also place filters on a maximum of 200 urls to help block out the low value keywords ads from appearing on the web pages and use only use high paying ads.

Once you implement these tips in your Google Adsense campaign, you will be able to make maximum money from your websites. Till we meet again…..

Google Adsense is a great tool in generating traffic to your website. However I feel that the right placement of this Adsense is required for its maximum benefits. While choosing the right placement for Adsense, you have to consider the commercial goals and purpose of the website.

If your website is used for selling products, it is better to place Adsense adverts within the website. Though this may seem to open opportunities to rivals for the promotion of their products to your customer base, placing Adsense this way helps in providing advertisement to your ancillary services.

Don’t expect too many conversions with Adsense

By placing Adsense adverts in the website, there is no worry of rivals capturing your traffic as Adsense is not actually effective in making conversions. This is because visitors who click on adverts are usually not highly qualified customers who will make a purchase.

Many a time, on doing a Google search and clicking on adwords adverts, you may end up in a website providing the top ten resources on a topic. This proves to be frustrating to the visitors as on seeing similar Google adverts on two sites, they tend to align one of these sites with the other, as having consumer unfriendly practices. This is one of the drawbacks of Google Adsense, which Google has to handle to remain a reputable service.

Google Adsense is effective in generating great revenue

However despite this drawback, Google Adsense is a great tool for website visitors. Adsense is most profitable for online publishers and to websites offering free services as it helps these sites generate great revenue.

So till we meet again……

Google Adsense is a great means of generating an income for your website. You earn for all the clicks visitors make on ad links placed in your website. The ads placed on the website are usually ads that have some relevance to the content of your website. There are many benefits with Google Adsense like:

• Google Adsense is a simple and quick means of earning some residual income. All you have to do to avail this feature is to make an account in Adsense using Google. This is free of cost, and takes only a few minutes to complete. Once you have created a Google Adsense account while specifying the content and purpose of your website, specific audience and advertisers are targeted to visiting the site. Once you get suitable ads and clicks on the ads, you start receiving payments.

• On using Google Adsense, I found it also to be a cheap technique of advertising products. This is because its advertising can reach millions of people who have access to the internet. I also found that Google Adsense can help at diverting the right flow of customers to your site so that revenue is increased here.

• Being fed up of all the ads that appeared in my website, I found Google Adsense very helpful in controlling the influx of ads and content to my site. I could use it to block some ads that I did not like in my web pages and all competitor ads.

• Google Adsense is a great marketing tool as it has a huge network of advertisers looking for investment in sites that suit their product and the service they provide. On joining Google Adsense, I thus had easy access to the advertisements I want for my site. This network of Google caters not only to the advertisers, but also to site owners.

• The search box technology used in Google is great where more visitors are attracted to a site. Moreover, the ads placed on the site makes visitors stay longer on the site as there may be some related links on the site which will intrigue the visitor. This increases the chances of any customer clicking on ads placed on the site, and thus an increase in the income of the host.

• To me, the payout system of Google Adsense is the greatest benefit of the program. This is because Google Adsense offers the highest percentage of payment to the publisher, than any other site. With the absence of checks and money orders, it offers an easy and reliable payment system. The mode of payment here is ETF where the money is paid directly into the host’s bank account. Just ensure that you give a legal mailing address and URL that is acceptable by Adsense to accept its payments.

I feel that all these advantages of Google Adsense make sense in joining the program……

This is a continuation to the previous blog, where I have tried to explain some of the mistakes all you Google Adsense users have to avoid for successful implementation of your Google Adsense program.

It is important that you don’t place all your Google adsense ads in a location that will be seen by any other ad service that you may be using on your site. This is against the rules and regulations of Google Adsense.

It is not advisable to place ads on empty pages. When you update your site, you may place some Google ads on your header after creating a section on the site. This section of your site may be slotted to grow in popularity soon, and on placing an Adsense code on the page, it can only lead to the generation of ads that are not targeted correctly to your site at all. So I fervently advice you against placing any ads on any empty pages on your site. Place ads only after you have created sufficient content for the page.

Remember that Google sends out ‘bots’ as soon as possible on the placing of your Google Adsense code, which is usually within 30 minutes. And the next visit you can anticipate from the bots may not take place for another 3 weeks. This in turn will leave you with non paying ads for this period, though you may have managed to generate high traffic to your site in this time span.

It is quite natural to a website owner to think that the more ads that are placed on the site or blog, the better it is for the site. However on the contrary, it is not advisable to add more than 3 ad units on the blog or site. This is because they don’t show on your site, and eventually end up as a waste of your time and space.

I have learnt that there are some people who consider placing their Google Adsense codes in their newsletter. However it is basically not at all advisable to place the code in newsletters or to email your code as this is all against Google terms.

A very important point to remember when using Google Adsense on your site or blog is to ask questions whenever in doubt. I suggest that you never do anything you may be doubtful about as Google is always there to answer any questions and queries you may have about Google Adsense.

Remember these points if you have or intend to use Google Adsense in your blog or website. Pretty soon you will end up with more generated revenue with the help of Google Adsense than you had anticipated before.

Till you try out these tips to find out improvements in your Google Adsense program……

People who blog for an income usually use Google Adsense to generate money. However after visiting numerous blogs, I have found out that these blog users have to be taught not what to do, but what not to do with Google adsense.

This is because I have found out that the blogs that fail to follow the rules of Google Adsense tend to end up losing whatever earnings they had earned in the first place with the Google Adsense program.

This in turn proves to be very expensive to the people who had spent so much on time and money in developing their site, only to find that everything had gone in vain.

So in a bid to help future blog and site owners from committing the same mistakes, I have listed some of the most common mistakes to avoid when using Google Adsense.

• A very important point to remember is not to use any contextual ads on your site, when using Google Adsense. This is a complete no-no in the rule books of Google Adsense.

• You are not in any way permitted to make any changes, or to make modifications to the Google Adsense code that is allotted to you by Google. This code is specially allotted to you by Google, and has to be used as it is.

• After adding Google Adsense to your site or blog, you are not allowed to instruct the visitors to your blog to click on your Google ads. This is because this is considered spam and proves to be very bad for you and your website.

• You are not permitted to click on your own ads. And if you do click on them by mistake, you have to inform Google about it. Google always loves receiving feedback from their customers like you, and will really appreciate the information you give them.

• Once you have Google Adsense on your website, you are not permitted to use any tools like traffic generators or other systems that you buy and use for making people visit your site. This is because this is considered to be false impressions by Google, and all the clicks that are thus generated are considered to be invalid by Google and search engines.

• The consequence of this will be Google suspending your Adsense account and in extreme cases, even the removal of the funds that have accumulated in you Google Adsense account.

So looking at all the consequences of the wrong usage of Google Adsense in your website, make it a point to avoid all these mistakes so that you will be able to enjoy the revenue Google helps generate for you.

So till I give you some more mistakes to avoid…….

Adsense is definitely powerful and finding incredible results everywhere. While we want our ads to be the best getting results does take some work. There are several ways to make your Adsense account blossom but today we will talk about the basics.

Below are a few ways to get started on the right foot with Adsense:

Step 1: Finding Your Keywords- Adsense is truly a great way to generate income. However if you have not picked the right keywords you could be wasting valuable time and money! Learning to research your keywords or finding someone who is skilled in this field is the first important step in working with Adsense.

Step 2: Article Writing- You want the keywords to be included in the content of your articles. The important part of this is making sure that your keywords flow with the article. You don’t want the article to sound stuffed. Also the primary keyword should be in the title and first sentence of the first paragraph. Keyword density should be 2-3% to be effective.

Step 3: Quality Content- The content of your articles should be related to your ad…or product. It should also be interesting and appealing to your target audience. This will attract more people who are interested in your product or service. It doesn’t make sense to have more traffic if they are not interested in what you have to offer!

Follow these basic steps and you will get traffic. Remember you need to capture the eye of your intended audience!

Until next time,

Many of us feel that if we place an ad through Adsense the money will start rolling in! Nothing could be further from the truth. While Adsense is a great way to improve your revenue. You still must take the time to give the target audience what they want to see.

Below are a few tips to help you improve your revenue with Adsense:

Tip 1: Location, Location, Location- Don’t place your ad at the bottom of the page- like some big secret…make sure you place it on the top of the page. It will draw the attention of the reader and is than easily accessible.

Tip 2: Links in other sites: Capitalize on popular sites that get more traffic. Look for the sites rankings, research and find the sites people are interested in that are relevant to your ad. Keep you ad on the top of their pages! Yes…you might have to work a little harder to get it there…even come out of pocket. But that is where the people are and you will see a increase in your clicks!

Adsense is making a tremendous impact on the affiliate marketing industry lately. Because of this, weak affiliate merchants are at more of a disadvantage than ever and ad networks will likely be losing their customers.

Why use Adsense over Affiliate Marketing?

If you are in a losing rather than winning in the affiliate program you are currently part of, it may be time to consider Adsense marketing and start earning some real cash.

Google is readily providing well written and highly relevant ads that are closely chosen to match the content on your pages. You do not have to look for them yourselves as the search engine will be the doing the searching for you.

You do not have to spend time choosing different kind of ads for different pages. And there’s no code to mess around with depending on affiliate program.

You will be able to concentrate on providing good and quality content, as the search engines will be doing the work to choose the best ads to put on your pages.

Configuring or Targetting Adsense Ads

You are still allowed to add Adsense ads even if you already have affiliate links on your site. It is prohibited, however, to imitate the look and feel of the Google ads for your affiliate links.

You can filter up to 200 URLs. That gives you a chance to block ads for the sites that do not meet your guidelines. You can also block competitors. Though it is unavoidable that Adsense may be competing for some space on web sites that all other revenues are sharing.

Owners of small sites are allowed to plug a bit of a code into their sites and instantly have relevant text ads that appeal to your visitors appear instantly into your pages. If you own many sites, you only need to apply once. This is a huge advantage over having to apply to many affiliate programs.

The only way to know how much you can earn is to try it out. If you ever want out of the program, all you have to do is remove the code from your site.

Payment rates can vary. The payment you will be receiving per click depends on how much advertisers are paying per click to advertise with the use of the AdWords. Advertisers can pay as little as 5 cents and as high as $10-12, sometimes even more than that. You are earning a share of that money generated.

If your results remain stagnant, it can help if you try and build simple and uncluttered pages so that the ads can catch the visitor’s eyes more. It sometimes pays to do something a little bit unique or different. It is also a refreshing sight for your visitor once they see something different for a change.

Publishers also have the option of choosing to have their ads displayed only on a certain site or sites. It is also allowed to have ads displayed on a large network of sites. The choice would be depending on what you think will work best for your advantage.

To get an idea if some Adsense ads you see on the search engines has your page, try to find web pages that have similar material to the content you are planning to create and look up their Adsense ads.

Avoid Adsense Pitfalls

It is important to note that you cannot choose certain topics. If you do this, search engines will not place Adsense ads on your site and you will be missing out a great opportunity in making hundreds and even thousands.

Topics to be avoided includes gambling, firearms, ammunition, tobacco or drugs. If you are being offered more cash in exchange of doing Adsense on these topics, you are signing your own termination papers.

With all the information that people are searching for on the internet, all you have to do is turn them into your profits. It all boils down to a win-win situation both for the content site owners and the webmasters or publishers.

If webmasters want to produce profit from their websites, a great way to do it is through Adsense. There are many webmasters struggling hard to earn decent money every day from their websites. What makes these webmasters very different from others is that they think outside of the box.

Those who have been there and have learned the hard lessons have very useful tips to help those who would venture into this field. Some of these tips have boosted earnings significantly in the past, and are sure to continue doing so.

Here are 5 proven ways how to best improve your Adsense earnings.

1. Concentrate on one format of Adsense Ad. The one format that worked well for the majority is the Large Rectangle (336×280). This format tends to result in higher CTR (click-through rates). Why choose this format out of the many you can use? Because the ads will look like normal web links, and people are typically used to clicking on them. They may or may not realize they are clicking on your Adsense, but as long as there are clicks, you will profit.

2. Create a custom palette for your ads. Choose a color that will go well with the background of your site. If your site has a white background, try to use white as the color of your ad border and background. The idea is to make the Adsense look like it is part of the web page. This will result in far more clicks from people visiting your site.

3. Remove the Adsense from the bottom pages of your site, and put them at the top. Anything you can do to make the ads more prominent will benefit you – don’t hide them! Put them in a place where people will see them quickly. You’ll be amazed how the different Adsense locations significantly change your earnings.

4. Maintain links to relevant websites. If you think some sites are better than others, put your ads there. Always work to maintain and manage your links. If there are already a lot of Adsense on that site, put yours on top all of them. This way visitors will see your ads first when browsing to that site.

5. Try to automate the insertion of your Adsense code into the webpages using SSI (server-side include). Ask your web administrator if your server supports SSI or not. How do you do it? Simply save your Adsense code in a text file, and upload it to the root directory of your web server. Then, using SSI, call up the code on other pages. This tip is a tremendous time saver, especially for those who are using automatic page generators to generate pages on their website.

All of these tips have worked well for webmasters who want to generate hundreds, and even thousands of dollars from their websites. It’s important to understand, however, that ads are displayed because they fit the interest of the people viewing them. So, focusing on a specific topic should be the primary goal, because then displays will specifically target a topic that people viewing the website are already interested in.

Also note that there are many other folks out there who use Adsense under the same topic as you are. So it is best to think of making an excellent ad that will be different and unique, compared to the ones that are already out there. Every clickthrough that visitors make is a point for you – so make every click count by making your Adsense something that people will click on.

Tips offered by webmasters who have boosted their earnings are only guidelines that they are willing to share with others. If they’ve worked wonders for some, then it’s very likely that they’ll work wonders for you too. Try them with your won ads, and see if the results work for you too.

If others have done it and succeeded, then you can too!
